I attended the Uni of Portsmouth as part of the College of Art & Design, which, at the time, followed the principles of the Bauhaus school. The experience provided an outstanding foundation in design thinking and an appreciation of core principles. The lecturers were genuinely exceptional, with several standout figures—Brian in graphics was particularly superb, offering both inspiration and unwavering support, as was the entire print department. The photography resources were excellent, and although the college was relatively small, it fostered a strong sense of community. My years there remain a cherished memory - though I probably spent a little too much time at the pub.
